Being a busy mom, business owner and now on the PTO, it becomes very difficult to keep everything in my head straight. I’m just downright exhausted all of the time.

I find myself forgetting things and becoming exhausted by the time 1 pm rolls around. I recently published my first cookbook, and that used up all of my energy.

I never really had interest in supplements before, but ever since going gluten-free and paying attention to what I am putting in my body, I do feel the need to sometimes fill in the voids when I know I am not getting everything my body needs from my diet alone.

I have taken a multi-vitamin and took an iron supplement in the past (I was anemic prior to going gluten-free), but now the supplements I find myself taking are the Hero Nutritionals Omega 3, Vitamin D, and Energy +B12. I just recently started taking the Omega 3. I know that is something I don’t get enough of in my diet. I don’t generally eat a lot of seafood. Not because I don’t like it, but because its expensive and hard to find sustainable resources. I eat a fair amount of flax and nuts, but not as much as I should on a consistent basis.

The benefits of Omega 3 are astronomical. I have heard it helps with depression, brain function, and asthma. I have suffered from asthma, however, it became controlled once I went gluten-free. The past few months my asthma was acting up, so I figured it couldn’t hurt.

When I tried Hero Nutritionals Omega 3 supplement for adults I was very happy with the flavor. Sometimes as an adult when you think of a gummy vitamin, you are not really sure what to expect. It wasn’t too sweet and had the perfect amount of flavor.

Now that I know I am getting the omega that I need to keep my brain functioning at its best, it definitely gives me some peace of mind. My mom brain loves the extra boost and my body is pretty happy about it too.

I previously mentioned that I am taking the Vitamin D and Energy +B12. This has become my go-to for mom life. The combo of the 3 gives me the healthy energy and nutrient boost that I need to make sure I can continue on to be super mom every day. With winter here and immune systems feeling suppressed, the Vitamin D, B12, and Omegas are definitely working in my favor to keep me going and stay healthy.

Overall, I am very happy with all of the Slice of Life Organics for Adults that I have tried and I would recommend them. Especially if you are a busy mom or parent and you need that little extra boost.
